Hello! I have problems with my PS2. When I'm playing PSx games on the PS2, it crashes and gets stuck. That is only when the game is loading (not loading from memory cards). Please help me!

Dont try to fix it by yourself. Call Sony at 1-800-345-7669. Their regular business hours are Monday-Saturday from 6AM to 8PM and on Sundays from 7AM to 6:30PM Pacific Standard Time. Just tell them your problem and they will fix it for free.
Note: They will NOT take it if you installed a modchip in it.

i'd say you just need to clean your fan...i had the same problem,i took the ps2 apart and cleaned the fan,put it 2gether and worked perfectly,you need to clean it once every 6 months...or you are supposed to anyway....but don't listen to me call the professionals cuz i dont wanna be responsible if you wreck it ;D

Ok this only happens if your PSX games are corrupt if it happens with all of them,then that means you've worn the games down to where they won't play anymore.

no problem dude....but i bet if u take a look at ur fan right now its just gunna be FILLED with dust...becuase every 3 months i check mine and mine is just covered in it...thats kind of why vertical stands are so important because then your fan dosn't lay closer to the floor and suck up dust , so try that and if that dosn't work then call the help line like ped said  |
