in little less than a month the legendary franchise that is mortal kombat will be returning to the PS2 for a new installement Mortal Kombat Armageddon
'The seventh entry in the ongoing fighting series is a full-blown armageddon, bringing together every bloodletting character in Mortal Kombat history as well as adding new characters eager for violence. Also featured are Create–A–Fighter mode, Create–A–Fatality mode, and a brand new Konquest mode.'
This statment from IGN says it all and looks to be a great game as expected.
Now to a game that is already released in America but is out in two weeks in Europe
'Spy Hunter:Nowhere To Run'
From TNA Impact cretaors 'Midway Games' comes new shoot em up and action game Spy Hunter Nowhere to run, though it doesnt look to be the greatest game of all time it carrys on the extremely succesfuly series of spy hunter, this time starring 'The most electrifyin man in sports entertainment' The Rock as Alec Decker the main character it is a good solid shoot em up and looks to make an impact on the gaming market/
The final review/preview is ofcourse SmackDown Vs Raw 2007 which is making out to be the best game yet in the Smackdown Franchise, Midway as i have mentioned have made Spy Hunter and now TNA Impact is being made but when they make that game they are going to be in serious pressure to compete with SVR 07. The latest game will have a new analog system for grapples aswell as many other things like perfecting top rope mounted punches and the good ol' burning opponents faces using the ropes ;D the graphics for the PS2 are looking superior than last years effort so far but obviously Xbox 360's version grapics are better but the PS2s are stil of a very very high standard. With hopefully improved GM mode and longer Season Mode plus tonnes of new superstars like Ken Kennedy and Lashley aswell as Umaga and Finlay to name a few this game is set to take the markets by storm come November.
Thats all but come back next week for a new Round Up and a few reviews and previews!!!
