how do you guys do that i've been lookin round on da net to try and get some help but i aint got a clue so how do you do it coz once i know how 2 do that then i can work on improving my gfx even more

new layer-->place on top of layer pallet-->ctrl+A (selects all)-->edit-->stroke most people just use size 1 and color black, it looks better and more clean but u can use whatever

new layer-->place on top of layer pallet-->ctrl+A (selects all)-->edit-->stroke most people just use size 1 and color black, it looks better and more clean but u can use whatever I have a slightly different way. Save your image to PSD first, then to JPEG, and close it. Then open the JPEG picture, go to Image>Canvas Size, and add 10 pixels to the length and width. It'll put a gray border around the image. Then use the magic wand to to highlight the gray, then use the bucket tool, pick a colour, and fill in the border. It seems long, but after you save the picture it takes like 30 seconds to do it.

ummm yeah, but my way is ALOT easier plus takes hardly any time at all, its what the majority of people do...

Use Truth's way, much easier I realized. I add a border to a Kobe banner I made today and it looked so much better. Here:
